OUR STORY

At Holy Emmanuel we are united in community by a shared belief in the forgiveness of sin through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that we have a loving and merciful God who gave His Son Jesus Christ as payment for our sins. It is that love that brings us together, gives us a purpose for living and strengthens us for the challenges of life. Jesus taught that we are to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22: 37).” And “love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22: 39).” We seek to live out these words through the worship of our God and by caring for each other and all God’s people in a Christ centered community.
