There are many new & exciting things happening around Holy Emmanuel. Please take a moment and look around thios site to find something that interests you.

a Wednesday evening program for children and adults.
The evenings will feature a light dinner at 5:30 followed by activities for children and special programs for adults. 
The evening will end at 7:00 pm except during Lent when there will be a Lenten service at 7:00 pm.Wednesday evenings will be a great time for fellowship! 

Jesus and Company Adult Class - On wednesday evenings at Jesus & Company we will present "Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University" This is a 13 week program based on videos and small group studies that teach families how to berat debt, build wealth, and give like never before. Class will run until about 8:00 Child care will be provided after Children's JAC.

Bunco Party - Bring your family and friends to the first Bunco Party of the season. Bunco is fun for everyone from 5 to 100! Join us Friday February 24th at 7:00 pm. Please if you can donate prizes and treats.

Ladies Nite Out - You are invited to a new bible study once a month.
We will be meeting at Perkins on 84th and Lyndale (you can order a beverage, dinner, etc) and then going through the book: “The Journey”. We will be meeting the last Monday of every month starting January 30th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM Please invite friends and join us for good Christian fellowship

Kidz4Jesus - Youth group for elementary (K to 3rd grade) kids who want to have fun and become closer to Jesus! ! !
Our next event is Friday February 3rd at 6:00 PM. Please come to church for a Valentine Party. We will have Food, Games and make crafts for the residents of Martin Luther Manor.

Sunday Mornings 9:30 - Bible Study with Pastor Dan in the Chapel.
Wew are using the “Growing In Christ” series which focuses on the appointed Bible readings for the Church Year.
Come and experience excitement in the Word of God as we examine these texts and re-discover the greatness of our God.

Sunday Bible Class (Accounting Room)
Please join us in the accounting room, on Sunday, Feb 12 at 9:30 am, as we start a new bible series called “Life Lessons with Max Lucado” on the book of Psalms. This study’s focus is on worship and prayer. Your prayers may not always be polished or perfect. They just need to be from your heart to God’s heart. In Psalms, some petitions are reverent, some defiant and some intensely personal. But all have one purpose: to lead you to worship the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind.

Our Parenting Class begins a new DVD series called “Shepherding a Child’s Heart” by Tedd Tripp. The main theme focuses on guiding your child’s heart. How you act (your fruit) is based on what is in your heart (good and bad). Parents need to look at their own heart first before they can shepherd a child’s heart. Topics in the series include: getting to the heart of behavior, shaping influences and Godward orientation, discovering the abundance of the heart, communication, appealing to the conscience, correction and setting goals for different ages. Class is the first Monday of each month. A free supper starts at 5:30 pm in the church fellowship hall with class at 6 pm. Babysitting is also provided free of charge. We not only have great fun but also help one another with parenting ideas and tips we have learned through our own experiences. All parents of infants through young adults are welcome. Please join us!

Food For VEAP
Remember to bring your food donations forward to the baskets at the Communion Rail during the offering. Feel free to drop off your donation at church during office hours (M-F, 9-3) THANK YOU. In the last 3 months we have delivered over 300 pounds of food!
